Frequently Asked Questions

When will orders be open?

Orders will open at 11.00am on Sunday and will close at 11.00pm on Wednesday every week. On Thursday’s, Friday’s and so very early on Saturday mornings, our growers and producers will be busy getting your orders ready.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes, we have a minimum order of $40.  Although… we really don’t think you’ll find it hard to hit it with all the awesome local, fresh, organic products we have available.

How much will I pay for delivery?

Our delivery fees work on a tiered structure. Orders up to $150 will cost $8.50 for delivery.  Orders over $150 will cost $5.50 for delivery and orders over $200 will be delivered to you for free.

When will my order be delivered?

Your order will be delivered on Saturday between 8am and 1:30pm. If you are not home, your order will be left in a shady place and you will receive a text message to let you know it’s been delivered and we will leave an ice pack to keep it cool. If you order chilled goods, you are welcome to leave a chill box or chilly bin out for your order.

Is this another vege box subscription?

Nope, it’s not! Unlike your standard vege box subscriptions, we leave the choice up to you. You will able to select exactly what you want without receiving items that you don’t want or need.  Each week, our local producers will let us know what they have available and we’ll update the website to reflect this.

Can you add one of my favourite products?

Of course! We’re always happy to hear from our customers and will work with you to list products that you just can’t live without.

Can I edit or change my order?

We’re always working to make managing your order easy however at the moment it’s not possible to remove something or cancel an order through the site, but it’s on its way.

If you’d like to add items to your order before the order deadline, email us first.  We’ll provide you with a code so you don’t get stung for delivery twice. You then go online and make another order adding the extra products you want.  Use the the code, we sent you earlier, at checkout.

You are unable to remove items or request a refund, as once your order is submitted, our processes are set in motion immediately. If you need help, just email hello@tasteintegrity.co.nz.

How do I pay?

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

What happens as you grow?

Our service will only get better! As we grow, we’ll be able to have more variety of fresh, local produce grown by more local growers, a wider delivery zone and we’ll be making more of a difference in re-shaping and fixing the current food system.

What do you mean by “local”?

For us, local produce means that it’s grown within 100kms of Auckland. When you buy local food, you’re directly supporting small farmers and family businesses who care about getting you the best food they can make (or grow) - and it hasn’t travelled as far, so it’s much fresher, tastier and healthier.

One challenge of staying super-local is that there are some essential fruit and veg that just don’t grow locally, like bananas. But whatever the food, we will always stay as close to home as possible, and we’ll be transparent along the way, so you can make an informed decision about what you want to buy.

Why is some of your food not organic?

We love organic food - and we think organic is a better approach for both farms and food producers, since it is respectful of the land, people and animals involved. But we also believe that small and local means better, fresher food, so we take a wider approach with everyone involved in sustainable food production - not just those certified as organic. We think knowing exactly who is behind your food is just as important.
